We take your privacy seriously. Here you will find what data we process, why, and what rights you have.

1. Controller
The data controller is Davitech International [company name, registration number, registered office — to be added] (“the controller” or “we”). For privacy matters you can contact us at [to be added].
2. What data we process
We only process data you provide to us or that arises from using the website:
- Identification and contact data — name, surname, e-mail, phone, installation address (with an enquiry or order).
- Project data — dimensions, description of the space, photographs and other details you include in an enquiry.
- Technical data — IP address, browser and device type, pages visited (when using the website).
- Cookie data — according to your consent settings (see the Cookies section).
3. Purpose and legal basis
We process personal data for the following purposes:
- Handling your enquiry and preparing a quote — performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Delivering the project, installation, warranty and post-warranty service — performance of a contract and legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR).
- Accounting and archiving — legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
- Traffic analysis and marketing — your consent given in the cookie settings (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
- Protection of our rights and legitimate interests — legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
4. Retention
Enquiry data is kept for as long as needed to handle it, at most 12 months if no contract is concluded. Project data is kept for the duration of the contract and warranty and then for the period required by accounting and tax law (usually 10 years). Data processed on the basis of consent is kept until the consent is withdrawn.
5. Recipients
Our contractual partners who provide installation, transport, accounting, web hosting or analytics and marketing services may have access to the data. All are bound by confidentiality and process data only on our instructions. We do not transfer data outside the EU/EEA unless a service used requires it, with appropriate safeguards.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right:
- to access your personal data and information about its processing,
- to rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data,
- to erasure (“right to be forgotten”) where there is no legal ground for processing,
- to restriction of processing and to data portability,
- to object to processing based on legitimate interest,
- to withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing,
- to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority of your country of residence.
7. Security
We have taken appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. Only authorised persons have access to the data.
8. Cookies
The website uses strictly necessary cookies, without which it does not work properly, and — with your consent — performance (analytics) and targeting (marketing) cookies. You can change your settings at any time using the button below or the “Cookie settings” link in the footer.
